I am so deeply honored to be a part of the St. Vincent de Paul Conference at the church of St. Paul the Apostle, here in New York City (SVDP SPA NYC). Our SVDP SPA NYC Conference helps individuals and families in urgent need, and we need your help so that we can continue to this work. Our Conference’s annual fundraiser, the Friends of the Poor Walk, is coming up on Saturday September 23rd, and I am asking for your financial support of the great works that we do to help changes people’s lives. I am truly blessed to have served in the capacity of President for the past two terms, for our SVDP SPA NYC Conference. I have met so many amazing individuals and families in need, as well as volunteers, conference members and supporters of the St. Vincent de Paul Conference here at St. Paul the Apostle. As a conference we continue assisting those in need, and the need grows. To remind you, we never stopped on moment during COVID. We didn’t close in those days when we were all sequestered. No… we put on our PPE, and we handed out groceries, engaged safely, and continued to assist, in whatever way needed, wherever/whenever needed. To this day, needs could include food, shelter, financial compromises, education, medical assistance and much more. All the support we give is ONLY possible by the generous donations we receive. The Friends of the Poor walk is our major annual fundraiser where our conference can gain funds to then allow us to assist those that come to us for help. Please give what you can. I promise that the money goes directly to our conference to use, to help us help the people we serve. My goal this year is $10,000 or more. I know I CAN DO IT WITH YOUR HELP!!! ANY amount donated is greatly appreciated and is NEVER too small!!! This year, the IN PERSON! walk will be on Saturday, September 23rd. Thank you in advance for your support!
