Volunteering with the Conference at the SVDP food pantry was a bright spot of the past year. No matter the weather, Conference members and volunteers were outside helping members of the community in need, always with a smile and an encouraging word. The Conference is dedicated to helping those in need through the monthly food pantry and other direct service projects, and their mission has become even more critical during COVID. The Friends of the Poor Walk raises funds to ensure the Conference can continue serving the community.
The Friends of the Poor® Walk is a national event coordinated by the Development Team at the National Council of the United States Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
